The Jardins Thématiques of the abbey of Thiron-Gardais present 10 gardens  all indicated by a panel of interpretation: the garden of simple, the  Kitchen garden, the garden of aromatics, the flowered cloister, the alley of the limes, the alley of the rhododendrons, the fish pond of the monks, the fruit-bearing terrace, the garden of the colors and the roses's alley.
A sensory and meditative walk with for backdrop the admirable one and austere architecture of the abbey of the Holy Trinity,
 

On the higher terrace follow one another almond trees, fig trees, plum trees and flowered arches.
Place of spirity and cultur, the way in  the park of the abbey of Saint Bernard de Thiron recalls the history of these monks, according to the Saint-Benoît  rule,  they transmitted their religious knowledge and their knowledge of the vegetable world to the borders of the kingdom and in the world.
