The composition of the garden dates back to the XVIIIth century.
The park is separated from the castle by canals. Seven little bridges connect it to the periphery. North of the property, the River Avre supplies each of the water features: the moat, the canal and the half-moon shaped water plane. Very handsome plane trees punctuate the space. They would have been planted in the early XVIIIth century.
