5 minutes away from Chaumont-sur-Loire, on grounds covering approximately 2 hectares, the garden spreads over 5,000 m2, flanked by the XIth century old Priory on one side and a stream filled by natural springs called de Valaire on the other. The Jardins des MétamorphOZes are arranged around the old Priory moat in a succession of theme gardens, from yesterday and today, with a very rich mix of plant varieties. There you will also come across numerous butterflies, birds, water birds, amphibians and dragonflies. You will discover a Renaissance garden, a cottage garden (“jardin de curé”), a fragrant Southern garden, a Japanese garden by the water and a small island of approximately 600 m2 complete with its folly, a Thai-style house on stilts. It is populated with works of art that give the garden an extraordinary dimension, whatever its surface. The works can be purchased at studio price. This garden is a work inspired by many famous gardens. You can learn from it many ways to succeed in your own garden with the means, space and water available there.
