Parc et Jardin de la Mardelle
La Mardelle results from the rehabilitation of an ancient quarry wasteland into an English-style garden and park. Its current owners have given patient care to its embellishment. Transformation of the garden covering more than 1 hectare started 20 years ago, each season bringing in more beautiful varieties of flowers and plants. A walk through the park is the best way to enjoy its peacefulness and simplicity. The beds are designed to combine a variety of colours and different flowering times with three different plant heights, so that there is always something to delight the eye and flowers blending with the view of the water surrounding the whole park.

On the N10, from Vendôme, take the D917 to Montoire-sur-le-Loir. On the N10, from Tours, take the D108 to Montoire-sur-le-Loir. In Montoire-sur-le-Loir, take the D917 to La-Chartre-sur-le-Loir; in Sougé, take the direction of Artins. The road walks past the garden which is indicated.
