The Grands Jardins, the Great Garden
This garden is the fruit of the careful attention of the Duchess of Portsmouth, who resided at Château d’Aubigny in the XVIth century, and of her descendants.
Magnificent hornbeam hedges draw the structure of the garden in four squares. The regularly trimmed hedge is the striking feature of this park. In some places between two hornbeam hedges, a green vault has formed, reaching 4 metres in height.
