Emotion in a natural scale.
The design of the Jardins de Drulon is unique in France. Over 15 hectares, the Domaine de Drulon presents the largest open air exhibition of contemporary sculpture and an intriguing series of six gardens:
- the floral garden with 1400 rose-trees and 6000 perennials
- the “Jardin de chambres” with its outdoor theatre
- the “Jardin de Bacchus” with its vines for table grapes
- the marshes lined with paths and natural labyrinths
- the “Jardin Secret” of the castle with its preserved fish ponds
- the “Jardin de Paeon” with a collection of peonies from China and David Austin roses.
Nothing can lead you to expect such an intriguing visit and everyone can get from it a treasure of emotions. Art lovers will appreciate the unbelievable osmosis worked between sculptures, land art and the various natural sites. Gardeners, botanists and nature lovers will recognize many rare species, cultivated or wild, and also come across the arboreal frogs or the grey herons… Children, dreamers, soul-searchers will all delight in the fragrances, the landscapes, the imaginary adventures along the wandering paths and labyrinths peacefully designed by the sheep.
