Parc du Château de Cinq-Mars
On a hillside of the River Loire facing the confluence with the River Cher, the Château de Cinq Mars was built in the XIIth century.
The garden stands out for its exhuberance.
The entrance courtyard greets visitors with a trimmed box design, the castle’s first courtyard is treated like an english park. Magnificent cedar-trees adorn the bridge leading to the castle. Southward, lavender beds draw the lines of a modern labyrinth with yew topiary at every corner.
