Parc du Château de Cheverny

The Domaine de Cheverny is a seigniorial estate held by the same family for over ten centuries. Cheverny was always inhabited and every generation, with passion, strives to keep it up and also embellish it. Since 1922, Cheverny has also been open to the public and visitors are welcome to enjoy all its splendours and the delight in its Vie de Château. From the English-style park to the castle’s splendid interiors, from the kennels to the Tintin exhibition, from the gardens to the forestry site, its owner invites you to discover an amazing heritage, both authentic and alive. There are two novelties. On the one hand, the completely revised vegetable garden is now accessible to the public, with flowers mixed in a square pattern and rows of vine, vegetables and orchard trees. On the other hand, a new ornamental pleasure garden now spreads between the castle and the Orangery: a modern creation, it covers the grounds of a former formal garden for which the original plans are still kept to this day.
