The park has of the being planted in the XVIIIth century but nothing allows to imagine what was then this garden.
In 1992, the park is reduced to an excessively bushy wood of oaks and to a meadow.
Plantations are made around some botanical themes:
- The roses, with a small modern rose garden, a collection of ancient roses around the pond and a collection of botanical rosebushes in ' Rosarium ', collection pleases by the CCVS (Academy of the Specialized Vegetable Collections)
- Plantations diversified by trees and by shrubs of ornament: maples, willows, viburnums, conifers and more particularly cryptomères, hydrangeas, ilex, osmanthus and a collection of birches
- The plants of shadow, ferns, brunneras, hostas …
The spirit of the garden is characterized by the research for effects of surprises obtained by plant subdivisions and the creation of varied atmospheres in which the light plays a determining role, a twilight, a transparency of the foliages…
Today, the park includes 850 varieties of trees and shrubs, 200 varieties of conifers and more than 600 varieties of rosebushes.
