Parc du Château de Vendôme

The park spreads over 6 hectares. It has several parts, which have a unity in the intimate blending of relief, stones and vegetal elements. The “walk” that was created in the XIXth century, goes across a succession of atmospheres that quickly change the interplay of these three elements. This provides a few visual surprises, “effects” that give light a significant role, such as the discovery of the private garden, a small and enclosed paradise, or the sudden appearance of the city’s clock towers on the turn of the road…
