The arboretum is located just near the Collection's nursery which very large trees and created in 1972 by Gerard and Claudie Adeline.
The arboretum present many large trees planted in 1965 and there is approximately 1000 inusual species registered as young plantations, which increase each year.
This scientific collection is classified by continent and trees are planted on small islands. The choice of the plants is made of live plants in the temperate zones of the northern hemisphere, having for origin Europe, North America, the eastern countries (Turkey, Lebanon, Persia) and Asia (Mongolia, China, Korea, Japan).
The arboretum Adeline is rewarded by the "Conservatoire des Collections Végétales Spécialisées" (CCVS) for having national collection of Liquidambar, Ginkgo biloba and registered collection of Tilia.
You can discovered many other trees's collections : érables, chênes, maples, beeches, hornbeams, silver birches, ashes, Carya, Cornus, magnolias, mountain ashes, Zelkova, hawthornes, apple trees, pear trees, ornemental cherry trees and many rare shrubs.
All these collections take part in the same adventure : that of the conservation of the vegetable heritage and the defense of biological diversity of our environment.
